These terms govern your use of Appdex at app-dex.com. By using the service you agree to them.
The service
Appdex provides estimates, rankings, and analytics about iOS App Store apps, derived from publicly available information and our own modelling. All figures are estimates and are provided "as is" for informational purposes. They may be inaccurate and must not be relied upon as financial, investment, or business advice.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must provide accurate information and be permitted to use the Google account you sign in with. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed through our merchant-of-record, Polar, on a recurring basis until cancelled. Each plan starts with a 3-day free trial; you are not charged during the trial. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Taxes are handled by the merchant-of-record where applicable. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to disrupt the service, and do not use it for any unlawful purpose.
No scraping or bulk extraction
Automated access to this site — including crawling, scraping, harvesting, or any systematic bulk collection of estimates, rankings, or other data, whether by script, bot, headless browser or otherwise — is prohibited without our prior written permission. Search-engine indexing of public pages in accordance with our robots.txt is welcome. Rate limits and bot-mitigation are enforced; circumventing them (including by rotating IPs or spoofing user agents) is a material breach of these terms.
Data use & republication
Estimates and datasets displayed on Appdex are proprietary compilations protected by database and copyright law. You may quote individual figures with attribution ("per Appdex, app-dex.com"). Republishing, mirroring, or redistributing any substantial portion of the data — free or paid — requires a written license. Contact [email protected] for data-licensing requests.
Intellectual property
The product, its interface, and its derived datasets are owned by Appdex. Underlying app names, icons, and store metadata belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appdex is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the estimates or the service.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the service, and may suspend accounts that violate them. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
